I Castelli Animati and Romics: Save the date!

We have I Castelli Animati and Romics at heart! The group of people that has created and realises these two Festivals is one and the same, with a common driving force: a passion for the world of animation and comics, careful research of content and dedication to achieving the best possible results.

The tenth edition of Romics – Comics, Animation and Games Festival – will take place from 30 September to 3 October 2010 at the New Rome Fair, Italy. A great happening in the world of comics, manga, animation, video-games and science fiction, a four-day party of creativity with something for everyone!

The extensive programme foresees the presence of prestigious international guests, world masters of comics and animation; previews of Japanese and international films; lessons and events at the University of Comics, Animation and Multimedia; The Comic-Book Competition, involving Italy’s major publishers; the Cosplay Contest, realised in collaboration with the World Cosplay Summit, world championship, in Nagoya, Japan; the Loligoth, Kawaii and Sailor Fashion Events; the Great Dubbing Gala, with Italy’s most famous voice actors in film, telefilm and animation; the World Cyber Games video-games tournament.

And lots of fun in the Kids Area and Entertainment & Video-Games Area, as well as special events, meetings with representatives of the world’s most important festivals, buyers and professionals, the Competition dedicated to emerging talents in comics and illustration.

The trade fair at Romics sees the participation of the most important Italian companies in the sector: publishers, distributors, specialised bookshops, collectors, home-video producers and distributors, video-games and merchandising companies. At Romics there’s everything you could possibly wish to find on your favourite characters!
