Citrullo International

    Citrullo International

    Citrullo International s.r.l.Citrullo is an independent production company established with the aim of matching the production of documentaries, shorts and features with animation films and audiovisual projects for the international market.

    Citrullo International has produced, among others, the documentaries:

    Citrullo
    "Rosy-fingered dawn: a film on Terrence Malick" - on the great American Filmmaker;
    "Chatzer: Inside Jewish Venice" - a journey through old and contemporary Jewish Venice;
    "F for Fontcuberta" - a mockumentary on the Spanish photographer Joan Fontcuberta.

    The animation short ‘H2O’, born as a multimedia project and video installation, mixing film shots with digital animation, had broad visibility worldwide and has been presented, among others, at the Annecy Animation Film Festival, at the Optronica BFI Festival and at the Italy’s international animated film festival I Castelli Animati. Citrullo International’s productions have premiered at the most prestigious Italian Film Festivals (Venice, Turin), as well as in a number of International Festivals (Jerusalem, Stockholm, Bangkock, Buenos Aires, London) and have been broadcast on Italian (Rai, Tele+, Sky, Cult, Planète) and international channels (SVT, YLE, TV3, Artsworld, IFC, Channel 8).
